COVID-19 Travel and Health advice
Updated April 26th, 2021 (9:01 AM GMT)
We understand your worries and concerns that you have about your upcoming trip.
Above all, the health, safety and wellbeing of our guests is the absolute priority.
All our departure marinas and charter companies we use have SAFE TRAVEL stamps which means they have implemented the health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Global Safe Travels Protocols.
Here you can find the latest updates from each of our sailing destinations:
At this time all SailWeek events in Croatia will operate as planned.
For current requirements to enter Croatia please visit the following links:
All travellers are required to fill out the form available at the ENTER CROATIA web page.
For more info please visit https://www.koronavirus.hr/testing-centers-in-croatia/764.
*It is your responsibility to be updated with possible travel and health restrictions for entering Croatia due to the Pandemic rules at the given time. Please contact your airline and embassy if you have any additional questions and doubts regarding the travel and health restrictions to/from the final destination.
All SailWeek staff including skippers, hostess, guest managers, videographers and management will have Digital Green Certificate. The Digital Green Certificate is a proof that a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19, received a negative test result or recovered from COVID-19.
The situation with COVID-19 is changing on a daily basis. If there is a travel ban, border closure or advice against all but essential travel in the destination country and we have no choice but to cancel the trip, we will contact you no later than 30 days prior to your departure date.
Also we suggest you get in touch with your insurers to confirm if they can help cover any other costs you may have incurred as a result of this.
First of all you should contact the airline to confirm the options available to you, including alternative flights and/or refunds. We understand how frustrating this can be. Should you not be able to get to SailWeek you have booked, the cancellation policy found on your booking will apply, but consider picking a new date in 2021 or postponing and transferring the amount paid towards a travel credit. Travel credits are valid for 2 years (see above).
You should also contact your airline and your insurance company to confirm the compensation options available.
